Another GAS?

I Love my Fuji kit lens. But sometimes i just can't resist GAS. After my trip to Nepal earlier last year, which i only bring XF14mm and XF18-55, i really lusting for XF35mm that i thought would complement my need for showing my photographic vision even better. And about 6 months later, i got my used XF35mm from a local camera store. I was very Happy....

On my last trip to China, i left my XF18-55 at home. Sometimes... i really miss the versatility of the kit lens. XF35 is just great, better image quality compared to the kit, but sometimes it is not quite versatile. Maybe it just me who still not used to photographing with single focal length.

But... i still curious, is my  XF35 can replace the XF18-55? Did i make right decision buying XF35mm?

I did some quick research about what focal length i used most on my trip to Nepal with the XF18-55. I choose among the pictures i really loves, and identified which focal length i mostly used. And this is the result...

Most of the times (about 40%) i used in at 30-40mm, which means it really close to XF35mm. So my purchased of XF35mm is justified.

But interestingly about 29% i used 50-55mm focal length. It means i used the kit lens quite a lot at the longer end.

So, do i need to complement my gear with XF56mm?...ah another GAS attack!
